Hi all,
Today I'm eating Hokkien mee noodles 福建面 which is a type of stir-fry noodles. It looks very much like Jjajangmyeon but it's not. Hokkien noodles are thick yellow noodles cooked in thick dark soy sauce with pork, fish cake and vegetables as the main ingredients and crispy pork lard. This dish is cooked over charcoal which makes it even more delicious because it has the distinctive taste of "wok hei" 锅气.
